Chapter 4714
James did not receive that many Path Fruits, to begin with.
He had used up a few of them for his training and cultivation. After losing one Path Fruit to
Waleria and giving away another two just now, he only had one last Path Fruit left in his
possession.
James looked at Wynton. "The Boundless Rock is an excellent tool that helps accelerate
one's cultivation speed.
I won't be going into seclusion anytime soon. So, you should use it for your training."
"Alright." Wynton nodded and walked out of the hall.
'Til leave for the time being to conduct my closed-door meditation too, James." Saachi
waved at James cheerfully as she followed Wynton out of the hall. James was left all by
himself eventually.
James had given away three Path Fruits that were worth a fortune to his friends without
asking for anything in return. However, he was not bothered by it since his friends truly
needed the fruits.
Since he had some free time, James decided to visit the spiritual mountains belonging to
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtthe Tempris House. Most of the spiritual mountains were uninhabited at the time he had
first arrived at the Verde District. As they managed to get more students to join the
Tempris House over the years, the population of people on the mountains slowly grew.
"Is that the Head of the Tempris House?"
"He was appointed as the Head of the Tempris House at such a young age. That's so
impressive..."
The students discussed amongst themselves as they spotted James appearing at different
locations within the Tempris House grounds. None of them dared to go up to James since
the man's background and identity were greatly shrouded in mystery.
On the other hand, James was considering the possibility of reclaiming the spiritual
mountains that once belonged to the Tempris House from the other houses. After having a
look around the grounds, James dropped by Xenia's spiritual mountain.
Since James had taken the position of the head of Tempris House, Xenia was soon
promoted to an elder as well.
However, not many cultivators had shown interest in becoming Xenia’s disciple since she
was still a fledgling and inexperienced in her cultivation. Xenia had only taken in a small
group of cultivators at the Ancestral God Rank as her disciples so far. As such, Xenia's
place was not as lively and bustling as the other spiritual mountains.
"What brings you here today, Sir James?"
Xenia was in the middle of a lecture when she spotted James entering the class. She
walked toward James as she sent away her students, "That's all for today. All of you are
dismissed."
"Yes, Ms. Xenia."
The students kept stealing glances at James as they headed out of the room.
James beamed warmly at Xenia. "Long time no see, Elder Xenia."
"Stop making fun of me." Xenia blushed pink in embarrassment. She was aware that she
and her students were the weakest amongst all the other groups belonging to the Tempris
House.
James brought up the issue that he was curious about. "I'm here to ask you about the total
number of spiritual mountains the Tempris House owned previously."
"We had a lot in the beginning."
Xenia produced a scroll from a nearby shelf. Then, she handed it to James. "Sir Wael left
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmthis in my possession for the time being. He wanted me to pass it to you when the time
was right.”
James unrolled the scroll and laid it out on a table. It was a map of the entire Verde
Academy. On the map, the areas belonging to the different houses were labeled clearly.
Xenia explained, "The areas outside the red lines are the spiritual mountains that were
once Tempris House grounds. The current owners of those spiritual mountains are also
labeled on the map.”
James roughly scanned the map. Then, he stored it securely. "What should I do if I wish to
retrieve those spiritual mountains?"
Xenia replied, "That's simple. Firstly, you can try to ask their current owners directly to
return their ownership of the spiritual mountains. Secondly, you can issue a challenge. You
can regain ownership by defeating the respective mentor or elder residing at those
spiritual mountains currently."
James furrowed his brows.
'The elders of the Verde Academy are mostly superior cultivators. I might be able to beat
the cultivators who are mentors. However, it's an entirely different story when it comes to
the elders.’ James pondered.
