“That's a brilliant idea from the Yin governor,” Yasmina mused. “This way, James won't have to suffer the
repercussions of breaking the soul contract.”
Taiyi snorted. "You're just jealous of her.”
Yasmina glared daggers at her. “Taiyi, all you do is bicker with me! Have you cup with any ways to help
James remove his inner demon?”
Taiyi remained silent.
“You haven't.” Yasmina pointed at her. “All you can do now is mock me.”
Strangely, Taiyi did not try to retort. Instead, she slowly narrowed her eyes.
Yasmina’s eyes widened. “...Huh? Did she really make it back here?”
Taiyi met her eyes. "Open the gate.”
Yasmina raised her hand and conjured a gate of light.

A few seconds later, a person stumbled through the gate and dropped heavily onto the floor.
A mass of black and white gases emerged from Taiyi's body, traveled toward the person, and moved them to
where Taiyi and Yasmina were.
The two of them were shocked to see the devastating, bloodied state the person was in.
It took Yasmina a while to cto her senses. She cast a beam of sacred light and channeled steady amounts of
vital energy over to the person right away.
Meanwhile, Taiyi cast the black and white gases to surround the person’s body.
“Don’t channel your powers to her too quickly.
“She managed to survive passing through the Xyrisia Gate twice. Yet, she might not be able to endure this in her
current condition.”
Yasmina stopped channeling her powers and sighed softly. "One could potentially die when they use the Xyrisia
Gate. Yet, Lesia did it bravely just to help James.”
Taiyi closed her eyes.
Even though she did not say anything, Taiyi hoped deep down that Lesia’s sacrifice would bring new hope in
helping James overcthe current crisis.
"What's the point in US getting , jealous yasmina continued. "Lopk at the yin governor, who puts her complete
faith in James, and lesia, who's fiercely loyal to James.
"James has these people around , him because he has compassion in away he’s embodied the initial purpose of
the Waitara Path creating the Historial beings’ Taiyi opened her eyes and looked at Yasmina. "Do you have
compassion in you?” Yasmina was momentarily stunned. “You don’t.” Taiyi shook her head. "It's something only
the Historial beings have. You won't, and you can’t understand it.” Yasmina let out a deep sigh. “Taiyi, you still
resentfor not stepping up back then. In the end, you were appointed to your current position. “However, you
know that | don’t like to get involved in the politics and conflicts. | prefer...”
“You think you're the only person who doesn’t like that?” Taiyi interrupted.
"Those wl” choose to follow James don't like the politics and conflict either including me. otherwise would | have
chosen to take james’ side?"
Yasmina was at a loss for what to say upon hearing those remarks.

Just then, Lesia opened her eyes.
“Is my master alright?”
Those were the very first words that cout of Lesia’s mouth even while she was still enveloped by the mass
of gases and in the sacred light.
Both Taiyi and Yasmina were rendered speechless by her question.
Lesia quickly sat up and asked anxiously, “Is he...”
“He's fighting the Waitara Path's soul spirit at the moment,” Yasmina said. “Are you Frona Dhimer, the Caeloros
God, or Lesia?”
Lesia did not answer her question. Instead, she said, “I need to see Master now. The real tribulation is about to
happen soon.
