Several of them take off running after Trey. Looking over to Dane, I see him smiling at me. He had been waiting for this. Waiting forto becwho I am supposed to be.
The Lycans start to attack one another, desperate to be the one to bring the screaming bitch to me. They probably thought that I would spare their lives for their compliance. I had no intention of doing that. I didn't want to be an Alpha of a pack that would betray their own. I didn't want those who so easily believed the words of Trey and Cassandra.
