lying! He must be lying!”
However, Jack only turned to the data analyst working aside and asked, “How is it? Do we
have the results?”
“We do. According to the analysis, Mr. Winters didn’t lie, but the accuracy of the lie
detector is only around 75 to 80 percent. You should consider it carefully.”
“What? He didn’t lie? Dad, this can’t be true! It’s not accurate at all! He’s definitely lying!”
Stephanie was emotionally overwhelmed. She couldn’t fathom that the man she had been
with that night might not be Elias. The thought of it being someone else disgusted her,
and she didn’t know who this repulsive person might be.

sitting on the couch.
After Crispin dragged her out of the study, the space finally quieted down.
Meanwhile, Jack looked at the lie detector data analysis pages, lost in silence. If Elias
didn’t lie, then who could it be that defiled Stephanie….
On the other hand, Elias had already removed the patches from his body. “We’re done
here, right? Please excuse us now. Mr. Allegra. I’d like to talk to Amanda privately. I’ll use
your study for a while.”
At that, Jack glanced at him and turned away angrily.
He wasn’t sure why he was angry. Maybe just like Stephanie, he couldn’t accept that it
wasn’t Elias. In that case, it probably didn’t matter who that man was anymore; finding
him would only drive Stephanie crazy.
After Jack left. Elias slowly stood up and casually buttoned up his shirt as he walked
toward Amanda, “It’s your turn; let’s play truth or dare.”

“Are you crazy? This is a lie detector test, and you want me to take it? Have I lied?”
Amanda said disdainfully, heading out of the study at once.

Elias, yanking her back to him.
At that, one of the staff members awkwardly spoke up. “Mr. Winters, if you want to
continue the test, I can adjust the equipment-
However, before he could finish his words, Elias interrupted, “You can all leave. I know how
to operate this thing.”
“Sorry?” The staff members took a moment to react and nodded in acknowledgment
before leaving the study, even considerately closing the door behind them.
Now, only Amanda and Elias were left in the massive study.

With that, Elias slung her slender waist over his shoulder and walked to the couch, placing
her on it. He then applied the patches on Amanda’s temples and neck before slowly
unbuttoning her shirt.
“Are you out of your mind?!” Amanda struggled, trying to get up, but the man held her
down firmly.
“I am. I’m mad for a verification,” Elias said as he undid her shirt. When he saw the
beautiful sight on her chest, his Adam’s apple involuntarily bobbed.

He placed the patches on her chest, pressed the start button on the device, and stood in
front of Amanda. “Amanda, I’m going to ask you a few questions. Answer truthfully, or the
lie detector will make things. awkward”
“Just make it quick. I’m exhausted and just want to go to bed.” Amanda replied
impatiently, but it was to conceal her guilt. She feared Elias might ask questions that
would put her in an awkward position.
