Chapter 429 Couldn’t Help but Shiver
“Are you sure? But I heard that Miss Momsey visits Mr. Winters every day. When did you
start working for Mr. Winters? I don’t remember seeing your face around.”
The butler couldn’t remember having the bodyguard around. Is it because I’m getting
older? Did my memory fail me?
The bodyguard remained expressionless. “Mills asked me to protect Mr. Winters before he
left. In the meantime, I only take orders from Mr. Winters”
Mills? The butler was surprised that the bodyguard referred to Yacob by his surname.

She had been staying with him over the past few days. Other than her, he had never seen
anyone else. It’s frustrating.
Since she claimed to be his girlfriend, he had no choice but to bear her
presence.

“Eli, do you remember? You used to take me on trips during autumn, Rosie said with a face
full of longing. These were the scenes in her dreams, the moments she hoped to
experience with Elias one day.
Her dreams would be coming true if Amanda never came back.
It was as though God gave her a second chance, so she must seize it.
Elias glanced at her indifferently and answered, “I don’t remember.”
“Is that so? It’s okay, though. We still have plenty of opportunities to create beautiful
memories in the future. We’ll make many memories together,” Rosie said in wonderment.
Our happy life together is about to begin.
Elias looked at those expectant eyes in silence.
He felt that he didn’t love Rosie at all, but he couldn’t bring himself to tell her.
Over the past few days, she told him about many things that happened between them.
She emphasized that she endured a lot of hardships for him. He felt that he was no

to go home.”

For now, she could keep Elias locked in a world in which only she existed. However, once
they returned to the Winters Estate, he would see so many servants there. All of them
knew about Amanda and Aiden’s existence.

“But Eli, I don’t want you to go home.” Rosie blocked his path.
