Just then, Symeon’s voice came from the other end of the phone, instructing Aiden to go
to
sleep. Right after that, Symeon spoke into the phone, “Do not disturb the child’s rest.”
After saying that, he hung up the phone without realizing that it was Elias on the other
end.
Elias was lost in thought as he looked at his phone.
Who is this man, and why is the child with him?
Amanda had always told him about wanting to rescue her child, claiming that the child
wast in the hands of a dangerous person. Could she be referring to this individual?
With that thought in mind, Elias picked up his phone and immediately made a call. “Help
me track the location of another phone,” he ordered.
Soon, the call was returned.
“How is it? Did you find it?”
“Mr. Winters, the location of this number is from a mysterious mansion in New Montana.
We don’t know the specifics, but the signal is coming from inside the mansion.”
After hanging up the phone, Elias furrowed his brow. A mysterious mansion…
At that moment, Boris walked in and knocked on the study door. “Mr. Winters, Miss
Momsey wishes to see you. She said she’ll just take a look at you and leave. If you don’t
let her in, she’ll wait outside all night.”
“Let her wait.”
He had no desire to deal with Rosie right now. His mind was consumed with thoughts of
Amanda and the child. He wondered whether this child truly was his.
“Yes.”
Just as the butler was about to leave, Elias called him back. “Stop.”

you back.” Elias didn’t even want to look at her.
The next moment, Rosie glanced at the bell in her hand and gently shook it.

Elias suddenly looked up and searched around, but there was no sound of a bell, making

Noticing that the man reacted to the sound of the bell, Rosie put her hands behind her
back. and shook the bell in her hand again.
The man began to feel drowsy. He even felt his vision becoming blurry and was slowly
losing consciousness.
Elias looked at Rosie standing there and asked, “Did you hear the sound of a bell?”
After saying that, she shook the bell in her hand again.
Elias couldn’t keep his eyes open any longer. He appeared drowsy and gradually closed his
eyelids before resting his head on the desk.
Seeing this, Rosie approached and called out a few more times, “Eli? Eli?”

Then, Rosie went outside the study and told the psychologist who had been waiting there,

asleep.

experience memory confusion.” The psychologist leaned against the desk while observing
the man’s pale face.

awake he is, the more he hates me. I can’t let him hate me more. I want him to like me,

Boris passed by the study several times, but the study door was never opened, and
neither Elias nor Rosie emerged.
He couldn’t help but wonder what they were doing in there.
Just then, the nanny walked by, and the butler stopped her. “Did you see Mr. Winters come
out while you mopped the floor? Or did you hear any noise?”
“No, but when Miss Momsey went in, it seemed like she brought a woman with her.”
“Brought a woman?” Boris looked puzzled. Could it be the female driver who just brought
Rosie here?
Boris found Rosie’s behavior strange today. Usually, a male driver would drive her here,
but today, a beautiful woman drove her, and this woman didn’t look like a driver.
At first, he thought she was Rosie’s friend.
But what are Rosie and her friend doing with Mr. Winters in the study?
Boris couldn’t figure it out, so he approached the door and knocked. “Mr. Winters, do you

The psychiatrist signaled Rosie with a glance to go and dismiss the butler. It was crucial at
