Allison walked into the cleaning room full of cleaning supplies and saw Adrian sitting in the chair with
tears in his eyes.
“Adrian.” She shut the door behind her.
“Allison, I just bumped into Grace. The Flanagan family is a bunch of jerks, how could they treat you
like this? Grace is getting better, even though she’s still weak, she only needs to take her anti–rejection
medicines daily, but that wicked Leah took her off her medicines, so she’s in a corna now! Leah and
Grace are cousins who grew up together, I can’t believe she could do such a thing!”
Allison gritted her teeth. Everything started to make sense when she learned about Leah and her mom.
No wonder when she was young, those gossipy servants would always whisper behind her back about
how much she and Penelope looked alike…

Adrian wiped away his tears and took a deep breath, his voice firm, “Yes, we definitely can.” He looked
at Allison, “I’ll continue to work as a janitor here, and try to get access to the sixth floor, then look for an
opportunity to strike. I heard that a guy called Mr. Green knew the hospital director, that’s why Grace
was admitted here, all because of Leah.”

Allison pondered but couldn’t match any faces to the name in her mind, so she decided not to dwell on
it.
No matter the reason, she only wanted to get her mom out of there.
Allison couldn’t stay long, so after chatting with Adrian for a bit, she left..
Just as she turned the corner, she bumped into a man in black.
It was a bodyguard from the sixth floor!
Allison was taken aback, but she quickly regained her composure, looked away, and walked past him

The bodyguard, however, froze–eyed Allison for a moment, then followed her.
Allison made her way to the lawn, where a few kids were playing frisbee. The weather was nice that
day. She helped the kids pick up their fallen frisbees while sitting on the grass chatting with Laura.
The bodyguard watched her for a while. Seeing that she didn’t seem to notice him, he quickly went
upstairs with the food in his hand, unaware that Allison, who seemed relaxed and chatting, was actually
sweating bullets.
When the bodyguard returned to the room, he didn’t let his guard down. He hurriedly told the other two,
“Guys, guess who I ran into when I went to grab
food?”
“Who?”
The beautiful lady who comes here every week.”
“What? Did she find us? Should we tell the boss?”
I don’t think so, she didn’t recognize me. She was wearing a white doctor’s coat, playing with some
mentally challenged kids on the lawn, it looked like she was working here”
