“Oh, that keepsake Lucian gave you. Keep it safe. Don’t lose it.”
“Mom, don’t worry. I’ve been keeping it safe. I take it with me every time I go to the Lindbergs.”

Saturday, the Lindberg family dinner.
George was heading back to the Lindberg Corporation in Summerfield tomorrow. So tonight, the
Lindberg family gathered in full force. Even the perpetually late Jason showed up early, and Aidan
made a special trip back.

Cora reminded, “Dad, don’t drink too much. The doctor warned you”
Carter chuckled, I know my limits. In a few months, I’ll be seeing Lucian’s child. I’m looking forward to it
every day, keeping myself healthy just for that day”
A flicker of panic flashed in Penelope’s eyes She forced a smile, but she was nervous inside.
The Lindbergs all cared about the baby in her belly. If it turned out that it wasn’t a Lindberg child, she’d
be screwed.
Miranda smiled gently, ‘Penelope, have you been taking the medicine I prepared for you?”
“Yes, Miranda, don’t worry, all my prenatal check-ups went well.”
Cora said, “Lucian, don’t work too hard. Spend more time with Penelope.”
Lucian gave a faint smile, “You know, we’re still working on the acquisition contract with another
company. It’s pretty hectic,”
Carter nodded, “That company is a bit tricky. Be careful, Lucian.”
Lucian nodded.
George raised an eyebrow. He knew about the company, but the old man had given the task to Luca

Aidan frowned slightly, ‘Synergy Corp got some inside information from Snow Inc. The fake jewelry
scandal of Snow Inc. was leaked by Rosa, the current VP of Synergy Corp. They’re preparing to
acquire Snow Inc.”
Lucian looked at him, “If I remember correctly, Rosa once… worked with you, and…” He didn’t
continue, his eyes narrowed.
Aidan smirked, “Are you trying to say that Rosa pursued me?”
Lucian picked up his glass and took a sip. That’s your words.”

He would definitely stay here longer.
Allison came home early in the evening. She returned so early that Grace was still up. Seeing Allison,
Grace immediately got up and said, “I prepared some supper for you. I’ll go heat it up”
After changing clothes and taking a shower, Allison walked into the living room. She sat on the couch
and noticed Grace’s phone on the couch. The screen was still on, showing what looked like an ad. Oh,
isn’t that Penelope?
She picked up Grace’s phone and took a closer look at the ad featuring Penelope on the screen.
