The team had the alluring press release ready. They were just waiting to release it after the red carpet event.

Kimberly’s voice was sweet. “Patty, I’m waiting for the cue too. Look at me all dolled up, how would I know Nicki

wouldn’t walk the red carpet?”

Nicki almost choked on her own spit. As she stared at Kimberly’s innocent facade, she ground her teeth. “Kimberly,

everyone knows about you and Mr. Sears…”

Nicki’s words were too incisive, nearly breaching the taboo. Her manager, Coco, quickly coughed, and Nicki bit

closed the door and turned around to remind Nicki, “My little diva, you’re practically begging for people to find out.”

Nicki was straightforward, she couldn’t hide things and definitely couldn’t handle being wronged. She immediately

lost her temper. “Kimberly is making moves behind the scenes. She is dining with Mr. Sears and trying to

overshadow me. Am I supposed to let myself be stepped on willingly? Patty too, punished me without knowing the

full story!”

Coco lowered her voice. “Keep it down.”

Nicki stomped her foot. “I’m already wronged, can’t I vent a little? Besides, Patty’s gone.”
