"I got blinded by money. I'm sorry, Thalassa. Just forgivethis once..." Daryl pleaded with a mix of urgency and guilt.
"I never want to see you in Starhaven again!" Thalassa turned her gaze away, refusing to look at Daryl anymore.

As soon as Thalassa finished her sentence, Daryl tried to say something, but David stepped in, blocking her path, and said sternly, "Please leave. Are you going to book your own ticket out of Starhaven, or should I arrange someone to do it for you?" David's words weren't a threat; they were a clear indication of an order about to be carried out.
Daryl, taken aback, gave David a quick look and realized he was taking Thalassa's words as a direct command. She knew arguing with David was futile.
Thalassa was essentially banishing her from Starhaven forever. But Starhaven, a place dripping with wealth, was where she believed her fortune lay. It was here among the movers and shakers that she hoped to encounter a wealthy suitor.
Leaving Starhaven meant resigning herself to a life at the bottom, never able to turn her fortunes around.
And Thalassa, by aligning herself with Lysander, not only beca designer but also had someone like David taking her words as orders! Now, she was being pushed out of Starhaven! Daryl couldn't accept this. She glared at Thalassa, saying heatedly, "Thalassa, are you rushingout because you're afraid I'll find someone better than you? Someone more successful, with a higher status?" Daryl's words were filled with resentment and anger, not just towards Thalassa but also reflecting her frustration and despair over the years spent in the shadows, doing whatever it took in hopes of crossing paths with a wealthy gentleman, a chance that never came.

Seeing the resentment and unwillingness in Daryl's eyes, Thalassa scoffed, "Your ambitions. are too grand, far beyond your reach. You don't belong in O Starhaven." Thalassa had always known about Daryl's ambitions. Even when she was just a janitor, she dreamt of catching Lysander's eye, her gaze following him every the caround, even fantasizing about winning his favor. But three years had passed, and she failed to recognize her own issues, blaming her surroundings instead. Daryl, provoked by Thalassa's words, tried to confront her but was stopped by David in time. Under David's restraint, Daryl shouted at Thalassa, waving her arms in foxy, "Thalassa, what do you think you are? You're nothing but a country bumpkin who got lucky with Lysander! Do you think you're better than everyone else?" "Shut up and get out!" David snapped, dragging Daryl out.
Atticus Sinclair quickly stepped forward, positioning himself in front of Thalassa and asked with concern, "Mom, are you okay?" Thalassa smiled, shaking her head, "I'm fine."
"Mom, don't take that lady's words to heart. She's just jealous," Atticus Sinclairtried to comfort Thalassa, worried she might be upset. "I know, I'm okay, don't worry," Thalassa responded gently, patting Atticus's head.
She really didn't take Daryl's words to heart. After years of struggling from the bottom up, she had heard it all. If she took every harsh word to heart, she would have been overwhelmed by her own anger long ago. Daryl's malicious intentions were her own, and Thalassa refused to let them affect her.
