Clint and | shift back as the sun begins to rise. We get dressed grab the blankets and candles and walk back to
the packhouse hand in hand. “Shall we get ssteep before we have to get up for training?” t
“I got Patrick to agree to a day off for the two of us. It is your birthday after all, and he knows that you're my
mate. He figured we'd be otherwise occupied.”
“Mmmm, does that mean that we aren’t expected to be anywhere until my party this evening?” | ask him.

He throwsover his shoulder, smacking my ass before running into the packhouse and up to our room. Later
that morning. | hear my phone ping. Clint is wrapped around me, sleeping, like | should be.
