Chapter 665 Avery chuckled softly, shaking his head in amusement. "You know, you don't need to cook, we've got more chefs in this house than a Michelin-starred restaurant.” Leah pouted, "That's not the same, Aurelia said it's kinda romantic to cook for your boyfriend now and then." Avery raised his brows in mock surprise. “Are you taking lessons in romance from my sister, now?" In Leah's eyes, Aurelia was the epitof perfection.
"Don't all guys want a wife like Aurelia?” she mused aloud.
Avery shrugged nonchalantly, ‘Not really. Take Leopold, for example, he never fancied Aurelia. He's all about those unpredictable types like Megan." Leah stuck her tongue out playfully. "Leopold is already regretting it. Once Megan has the baby, he'll be free to divorce Megan.” Avery grunted dismissively, "Forget it, my sister wouldn't take him back. There's a saying, once you have moved on, you should not look back. He's not going to win her back that easily" Leah sighed, knowing Avery's grudge against Leopold ran deep.
One mistake had turned into a life-long regret. If Aurelia refused to remarry him, he'd definitely be devastated.
Leah blinked, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

“Of course not.” Avery's voice was firm and decisive. “Once I'm committed to a woman, that's it. No do-overs." If Bonnie hadn't walked away, Avery would never have broken up with her. He was a man of his word, not one to break hearts.
Leah smiled slightly, her beautiful eyes curved like a crescent moon. She knew she had her sights set on the right man.
“Avery, try this.” She offered him a piece of steak, perfectly seared and seasoned with rosemary and garlic.
He took a bite and after savoring it, smiled warmly, "You're a fast learner, Leah. Got quite the knack for this." Of course, she had to be, with an IQ off the charts. Leah grinned slyly. After dinner, she set out sfine wine and assorted berries. They settled in to watch a movie together.
“Avery, | need a hug." She opened her arms wide, her big eyes and soft expression made her look irresistibly adorable.
Avery laughed and wrapped her in his strong arms.
There was something about hugging a girl with curves, he thought, much more comfortable than those stick-thin actresses he worked with.
“Am | living up to your boyfriend fantasy?" he teased.
Leah nodded eagerly, her head nodded repeatedly. He was the very template of her ideal boyfriend.
“In the future, | want someone just like you, Avery. Tall, handsome, gentle, and impressive." Hearing her words, a knowing smirk played on Avery's lips. "You know, hearing you say that, I'm starting to worry you'll never get married.” “Why's that?" Leah raised an eyebrow in confusion.
Avery teased, "Because you'll never find another one like me." Leah pouted playfully, thinking, “Then I'll just have to snare you, wont 1?" No one could measure up to him.

If you haven't found someone as good asby the tI'm twenty-eight, I'll, with great reluctance, take you off the market" Leah's eyes sparkled, her heart stirring with waves of excitement.
"Really?" "Yeah, Avery nodded, his smile deepening with a mix of jest and earnestness.
Leah didn't care; she took him at his word.
Avery was three years older than her. When he'd be twenty-eight, she'd be twenty-five—perfect.
“Let's pinky promise." She extended her little finger with childlike seriousness.
Avery linked his little finger with hers.
"Pinky promise, no backing out.” Leah's heart raced with excitement, a fluttering sensation like that of a fawn hopping inside her chest.
She was determined to keep Avery close, warding off any potential rivals. That way, when she turned twenty-five, she could marry Avery, just as they'd promised.
