"I'm worried that someone might recognize you if you sit with them. And it might be too loud for you too. What if someone who doesn't like you tries to hit you secretly and take you down?" Melody asked, concerned.
Lucas raised an eyebrow. "Do you think I'm that unpopular among your fans? Or are you implying that none of your fans like me?" "Umm..." Melody pouted. "It shouldn't be surprising if they don't like you. After all, I married you just as I entered showbiz, and a lot of my fans were pretty sad because of that. They think that I'm still young and that I shouldn't tie myself down when I still have so many opportunities ahead of me." She then continued, "It's pretty amusing, if you ask me. They advisednot to fall too deeply in love with you because you might just be playing with my feelings. They toldto think like a man, play with your feelings, then leave you and add you to my list of exes. Apparently, it'll make it easier forin the entertainment industry." Lucas's face was filled with disbelief. He had not expected Melody to learn such things from her fans.
Melody's mischievous smile prompted Lucas to pinch her cheek. "Can't you say snice things aboutto them?" Melody stuck out her tongue. "They'll hate you even more if I defend you. I want you to exist in harmony with. them, but I know that they're also genuinely concerned about my own well-being. Being with you made them sad enough. I don't want further upset them, so I'm sorry that I't have to put you in a bit of a tight spot. I know what kind of person you are after being with you for so long. Now that you know that I have lots of fans, you have to be careful too! If you do anything to hurt me, then..." Melody raised her fist at him in jest, but Lucas caught it in his hand and pulled her close to kiss her.
