The private room turned completely silent.

But now, he was also saying that he would help Winter get appointed as the chief of that hospital, and that he and Gene Pearce agreed to that? Everyone knew that Gene was the richest man of the east coast, and Frank would say that he and that man discussed and agreed to let Winter becchief?! Who did he think he was, swaying Gene's decisions?! It was no longer a joke at that point-just fiction.
Yew did not even bother mocking Frank at that point. Keeping a straight face, she picked up her handbag and got to her feet, "Keep listening to him brag all you want. I'm leaving-I don't have the tto waste here." Two other girls followed suit, holding no hopes toward Frank at all.
In their mind, Frank must be crazy for saying something like that, and anything else would just be a waste of tlike Yew said. Frank nodded and smiled as he watched them leave-it made sense for them to think of it that way, especially when he was just wearing an ordinary suit that was at best worth a few grand.
There was nothing about him that screamed money or showed his social standing, not to mention that he calone.

Still, he did not stop Yew and the two girls since he had no sinister et intentions with them-they could leave all they wanted since they did not believe him. Watching as they left, Winter quickly asked, "Are you being serious, Frank? Even if you are, I'm..." "Oh, silly Winter..." Tina could not find other words to say and merely turned to nod politely at Frank, sighing. "Thanks for saving us, Professor Lawrence, but I've decided to rely on myselfand start from the bottom." And with a bow, she left with her friends.
"Hehe..." Frank could tell that Tina and her friends were not like Yew's clique, who were ready to trade favors with their upperclassmen. Tina and her friends actually found it unacceptable, even deciding to start from the bottom.
And Frank appreciated that attitude.
As he watched them leave, he said quietly, "Stay in touch with Winter. She can arrange an internship for you at Zamri Hospital." Tina said nothing. She simply waved at Frank in acknowledgment, but she obviously did not hold out hope.
