Chapter 81 The Reversal

Wendy looked at Nathan like he was a lunatic. Was he really out of his mind? Was he going to fight in

front of the chief police officer?!

“It’s not good to waste food.” Nathan said to Judy seriously, and then picked up the plate.

Judy was stunned for a moment, then spit at Nathan. She cursed, “You crazy!”

Nathan avoided it easily, and then the dish in his hand directly covered Judy’s face!

Judy fell on the ground embarrassedly.

“You are so courageous!” James couldn’t help being furious.

Jason’s expression turned serious. He pulled out his gun and said in a deep voice, “Please knieel down

immediately with your hands on your head. Otherwise, I will regard it as resisting arrest and provoking

the police, and I have the right to shoot you on the spot.”

Judy was covered with oil stains and spittle. Her body trembled, and she shouted angrily, “I love to waste

food. Dare you do it again?”

Nathan nodded seriously and said, “It seems that you still don’t understand how precious food is. I must

explain it to you today!”

Judy sneered. As long as he dared to make a move, Jason would shoot him!

She didn’t believe Nathan was faster than the gun!

“Master Evans, what are you doing here?”

“Mr. Hanks is here too. Long time no see!”

“Ms. Wendy and Mr. Dawson, you all are here.”

A voice came from the door. Someone showed up. It was Carl who Nathan had greeted earlier.

“Mr. Hopp.” James was taken aback for a moment, then greeted him.

“Mr. Hopp, why are you here?” Jason smiled and put away his gun. The other police officers also greeted

Carl.

Nathan calmly said, “Some people are wasting food. I’m teaching them not to.”

Carl laughed and said, “That’s good!”

Jason’s expression froze suddenly, and he said in a deep voice, “Mr. Hopp, this person is a criminal

suspect. He beat up Mr. Dawson’s employees, and he even did it in front of me just now…”

“Haha, you are joking. As Master Evans said, he is telling people the truth about cherishing food. He is

not beating anyone.”

Carl said with a smile on his face.

Jason was startled for a moment, and then he understood. Obviously, Carl came here to support Nathan!

James understood it, too. His face became gloomy.

Judy said in surprise, “Mr. Hopp, look at these things on my face. He did it! You can’t favor him like this,

is there any law?”

Carl glanced at Judy and said, “Law? In Mimar City, Mr. Hanks’s words are the laws. Mr. Hanks, what do

you say?”

Jason said awkwardly, “You are joking. I’m just a mere police officer.”

Jason would never dare to offend Carl. After all, his father, Gerard, was the boss of Mimar City. If he

offended him, there was

no way he could continue to mess around in town.

Gerard had managed Mimar City in an orderly manner in the past few years, and his future was

promising. Those high officials liked him a lot, and he might be promoted in the future.

It was not worth offending him.

“Mr. Hopp, my people have been beaten!” James said gloomily.

“I know, but shouldn’t people who waste food be beaten? Wouldn’t it be nice to be taught a lesson?” Carl

asked in surprise.

James’s lips twitched fiercely. He was sullen, but he couldn’t say anything.

Wendy smiled slightly. Nathan even knew Carl, and Carl was willing to help him. It was a bit out of her

expectation.

Jason said seriously to James, “Mr. Dawson, your people waste food, which should not be done.

Moreover, spitting in other people’s food is somewhat against morality!”

“You started this, and you should resolve it.”

“If the negotiation fails, I will deal with it!”

Nathan cast a glance at Jason and asked, “Didn’t you just say your words are the law in Mimar City and

you would put me into prison? Why did you change your mind?”

As soon as these words came out, Jason’s back was covered with cold sweat. Why did he mention it

again?

“Hahaha, I was kidding. We all abide by the city’s and the country’s laws.” Jason forced himself to calm

down and said with a smile, “I will go. You guys can negotiate a solution.”

After saying this, he nodded to Carl, and then said, “Mr. Hopp, I have a lot of work to do, so I’ll go first.

Please send my regards to your father.”

Without waiting for Carl to respond, he led his men to leave in despair.

With Jason’s withdrawal, James’s and his people were put to shame.

When Jason was here, they were all arrogant and excited to see Nathan suffering.

But Carl’s arrival turned the situation around in an instant.

“Today, if you don’t eat all these things up and pay me 200 thousand dollars respectively, this matter will

not be finished.” Nathan said seriously and decisively.

James gritted his teeth and said, “This is not over!”

Nathan didn’t say a word.

James turned around and left. He didn’t want to care about this sh*t anymore.

“Didn’t you hear Master Evan’s words?” Carl sneered and asked Judy and her

gang.

Judy shuddered. Seeing Nathan pick up another dish with saliva, she couldn’t help screaming, “I’ll eat…

I’ll just eat it!”

The rest all got up and started to eat the dishes they spit on themselves. Although the food was

disgusting, they had to close their

eyes and force themselves to swallow.

Then, they transferred the compensation to Nathan.

200 thousand dollars per person. If someone didn’t have enough money in his account, he issued an

IOU.

“Isn’t it inappropriate to blackmail them like this?” Hannah asked guiltily.

“I’m just repaying them in the same way. You heard James. He wanted me to pay every one of them 200

thousand dollars.” Nathan said with a deadpan expression, without any psychological burden.

After collecting the money, he said, “Carl, half of the money is yours.”

Carl didn’t expect he would say that. He smiled and said, “I can’t take it. If I take it, there will be big

problems. What you did to my family is more precious than money.”

Seeing that he would not accept it, Nathan put the bank card in his pocket.

“Let’s have dinner together. I’ll introduce you to some friends.” Carl held Nathan’s hand and walked

away.
