Curtis walked into the Lake family's manor with five heavyset men at night.
"Dad, they're here."
Curtis said to Kennedy, who was sitting in the living room.
Kennedy was sitting just as Curtis did when he left. It was as if time had stopped passing on this man.
Kennedy slowly opened his eyes, looked at the group of five, and asked faintly, "Are you okay?"
These five were the five strongest people in Lake Security Services, but they were all currently in bandages, looking
miserable.
"I'm fine. These minor injuries don't require us to stay at the hospital. Just let them heal slowly!"
"Yes, Optimus Security Services' staff are strong, but they didn't go all the way. We only suffered minor injuries.
