After putting all the silver needles from Maverick's body back into the bag, Sean looked toward Lexter.

He had set up a plot that he thought could discredit Sean, but he did not expect Sean to resolve it so

"What Kennedy? I don’t understand what you're saying.
"I didn't think you were worthy of being Ocean City’s miracle doctor. I can't believe you were right about
Maverick's disease!
"But don't think this will confirm your reputation as a miracle doctor!"
Lexter tensed. His voice probably trembled because of his nervousness.
Looking at his reaction, Sean already had an answer and did not bother to pursue it.
"Go back and tell Kennedy that he can just tell me straight that he doesn't want to live.
"Don't bother resorting to shady tricks to hurt me. It seems too childish to me!”
After saying that, Sean strode out of the venue without looking back.
Sean had no interest in wasting time with quacks.
