Belen Patrick looked at Amelie earnestly.

Amelie replied with a smile.

“What sister-in-law! Rex Mullen hasn’t proposed to me yet. He said the situation is unstable, and he is afraid of

holding me back. If you ask me, he just doesn’t love me!”

“How is it possible? Don’t you know the kind of feelings Rex has for you?”

Amelie hurriedly defended Rex Mullen.

three years. How many more three years does he think I will wait for him?”

Belen complained, feeling more and more aggrieved.

“Is that true?”

family is also pressuring me. I said I have a boyfriend, but I haven’t taken Rex to meet my parents yet, and I dare

Amelie sympathized with Belen’s feelings.

“Are you leaving now? Stay a bit longer, then we can have lunch together and a nice catch up.”

need to look after him.”

“How is my father?”

Amelie asked cautiously.

“He’s much better, but he really misses you. You know you are a baby bump of your family. They can’t stop thinking

about you if they don’t know your whereabouts. But don’t worry, I won’t tell them you are back. I will take good

care of them, and let you know the soonest if anything happens.”

“Thank you, it’s so good to have you.”

Amelie said gratefully.

“Don’t be so polite. You go ahead with your work. I’m leaving now.”

Belen stood up, picked up her bag, turned around and leave.

Amelie was very pleased to see she had gradually matured.

Rex was really blessed. Belen was a good girl. She didn’t expect the two were so much in love, and Amelie was

sincerely happy for them.

She glanced at the clock on the wall. It was getting late, and it was time to work.

Her subordinates were already discussing the real estate project.

Amelie returned to her office, and immediately took out all the materials related to the project.

Finishing speaking, Amelie waved and dismissed her.

Cynthia said angrily on the phone.
