Chapter 5572

"Very well, darling. Let's carry on with our games, then.1

Scitalis spoke with a smirk before whooshing in Debra's direction like a cloud of smoke.

"You've got a death wish."

Debra's expression was murderous at his words. She roared out loud, charging forward as

a fierce battle broke out between both parties.

In the blink of an eye, more than ten rounds had passed, but there seemed to be no victor.

Despite being in the late stage of Heaven Ascension, Debra had no upper hand against

the two-thousand-year-old Scitalis. Scitalis, on the other hand, played nice out of not

wanting to injure or affect Debra's duty.

Debra was anxious over not being able to get the upper hand.

Scitalis was at ease, casting out blow after blow as he jeered, "You're not going to beat

me, pretty lady. I'd just give up if I were you."

Debra's face flashed with humiliation and rage as she roared, "You've got a death wish!"

As she cried out, her blows grew more and more sharp and merciless. Yet every single

time, Scitalis was able to dodge them at top speed.

And at the same time, Scitalis would throw out another one of his infuriating lines.

"Hey, not so rough! Are you trying to kill me, darling?"

"Ha, missed again! I see!"

Scitalis was extremely cunning, and he knew that he would surely be able to take Debra

down if he were to use all of his energy. However, out of concern for tainting his darling's

beauty, he switched up his tactic and used words to provoke Debra so her mood would be

affected.

It was important to note that a fighter's mentality mattered greatly, and being in a bad

mood was bound to screw up their performance.

*sshole...'

Debra boiled with fury at Scitalis' shamelessness. Her moves grew more and more fatal,

but it did little to help with the situation. Scitails dodged every single one of her attacks.

Rachelle grew anxious at the situation. Her brows tightly knitted as she stood watching

from the side.

The strange, grotesque creature was such a b*stard.

At the thought, Rachelle could not help but call out to Debra, "He's trying to provoke you

on purpose! Don't fall for it."

Rachelle was an intelligent woman, and she could not stand and watch things carry on the

way they were upon understanding Scitalis' intentions.

Debra snapped back to her senses at Rachelle's cries.

Yes, he indeed sair those things to provoke her and mess with her head. How was she so

easily angered?

However, Debra was also a beauty with brains, and she did not show any sign of

acknowledging Rachelle's words even after understanding this. She continued to put on an

expression of great rage, continuing in her attack on Scitalis.

Scitalis did not know that he had fallen for Debra's plan, and grew in excitement at the

sight of Debra's face flushed crimson with rage.

'What a fiery temper this beauty has.’

That was not a bad thing. The angrier she got, the easier it would be to see through her.

Another few rounds later, Debra slipped up on purpose.

Scitalis did not know that she was faking it and said with a huge smile, "You're not going to

beat me, pretty thing. Give it up."

As the words rang through the air, Scitalis sped up as he charged toward Debra, planning

to take her down while she messed up.

However, before he could get close, Debra bit her lip as she flicked her wrist and drew her

long sword.

"Sunset Ichor."

The next second, Debra spat the words coldly as a ray of blood-red light shot out from her

long sword. It moved fast as lightning, charging in the direction of Scitalis' chest.

Sunset Ichor was a sword move from the Celestial Swordmanship. Darryl learned the move

when was a pupil of the Sword Devil Ford South, and he would practice it once in a while.

Debra was by Darryl's side most of the time then, and she learned a thing or two about it

after watching it so many times.

'Oh. She's been faking her rage.'

Scitalis' smile dropped at the sight of the blood-red light, only realizing then that Debra

had messed up on purpose to trick him. He tried to dodge, but it was too late.

A rip blared through the air as a large gash appeared on Scitalis' chest and blood sprayed

from it.
