Chapter 5576
Scitalis' expression was sincere, but his gaze flashed with resentment.
Scitalis lived for over two thousand years, and he had once been the grand general of the
North Moana Continent. How could he really let himself be at Rachelle's mercy so easily?
He had thought it through. He would pretend to obey Rachelle and trick her into using her
powers to break his curse. Then, all he would have to do would be to wait for the right
time to do as he pleased...
Just then, Debra and Rachelle internally let out relieved sighs at Scitalis' words.
No wonder he had started begging so quickly. It appeared he was under a magic curse,

The next second, Rachelle returned to her senses as she whispered to Debra, "What do
you think?"
Truthfully, Rachelle was disgusted at the sight of Scitalis' true form, and she had no
intention to spare him, but both of them lost a great deal of energy from the battle earlier.

Just then, Debra pondered briefly before saying, "Let's give him a little treat before we
break his curse."
As the words rang through the air, Debra took out a pill. She pried Scitalis' mouth open
with her sword, popping the pill in.
Gulp.
Debra moved incredibly fast, and Scitalis could not react in time before he had swallowed
the pill instinctively.
All at once, fear swept over Scitalis as he stared intently at Debra, saying in a tone full of
shock and panic. "You... What did you feed me?"
Rachelle stared at Debra in shock as well, unsure of what she was about to do.
Debra smiled arrogantly at the sight of Scitalis' panicked expression, saying the words
coldly. "Don't panic. This is the ' Soul Addict Pill.' It won't kill you if you take the antidote in
time, but if you don't, you'll die a horrible death."
Soul Addict Pill?
Scitalis grew even more fearful as sweat started to bead at his forehead.
Scitalis had lived for many years, and he knew a great amount about medicine. It could be
said that there was not a pill in the world that he did not know off, yet he had not heard of
the Soul Addict Pill.
That was because it was Darryl who invented the Soul Addict Pill, a mere few years ago.
Back when Darryl had been researching the Heaven Cult Elixir, he had added a few
secondary herbs to its foundation to create a new blend of pill.
Its effects were ten times as strong as that of the normal Heaven Cult Elixir, and it would
yield horrible results if the person who took the pill did not take the antidote in time. They
would suffer a pain as horrible as having one's soul ripped apart, thus giving it the name
of the Soul Addict Pill.
Darryl had given Debra a few of the pills when he made them to be used in case of an
emergency, and Debra had kept them safely by her side all those years.
Debra stared at Scitalis silently, emphasising each word as she spoke. "Listen up. You said

You're just too cunning, so we had to take some precautions.
"If you don't take the antidote within a year, you'll die a death from the bones in your body
breaking one by one, but if you behave, I'll give you the antidote. Don't believe me? Try
summoning your energy near your acupoint. Do you feel a prickling sensation?"
At the words, Scitalis scrambled to do as Debra had said. His face paled as what she said
turned out to be completely true.
"Master!"
The next second, Scitalis' forehead dripped with sweat as he bowed to Rachelle once
again. "I swear to be loyal as can be, and never turn my back on you." His tone was
sincere, but he cursed Debra a thousand times internally.
He had thought that putting on an expression of succumbing would fool Rachelle and
Debra for sure, only for these ladies to turn out smarter than he could ever imagine.
His life was now in the hands of his opponent, and there seemed to be no way out.
Yet Scitalis was deeply cunning, and good at being patient. Thus, he pretended to submit
for the time being.
