face, “I’m sorry, I won’t bring this up again, all right?”
“I didn’t say you couldn’t mention Mr. Milburn, but we have more important things to deal with now,
don’t we?”
Alex nodded, “Right, I’ll stay on topic, Alden. You go ahead, I’m all ears.”
Aiden gave him a look, helplessly waved his hand. “Nevermind, I shouldn’t have brought this up with
you! I guess I’ll go to dad tomorrow.”
After saying that, he took a sip of water and was about to head back to his bed.
Suddenly, Alex grabbed him.

thinks our mom is our stepmom? Then let’s tell her the truth! We’re both mom’s biological sons!”
Aiden thought for a while, but still shook his head, “No, mom said this matter must be kept a secret! If
we blurt it out, who knows what the consequences will be… I don’t want to take that risk.”
Alex suddenly laughed, “Aiden, you sound so grown–up all of a sudden! You talk just like dad!”
“You’re getting off–topic again!”
“I just said it casually! Then, I won’t say it, I was wrong.” Alex rubbed his eyes, “Aiden, let’s tell
grandma! I think this method is good!”
“What if mom has other plans? If we tell like this, it will mess up mom’s! Look at mom, she’s so
wronged, always being accused by grandma, and she doesn’t speak up, there must be a reason, we’re
just kids, we don’t understand, so we better not meddle!” Aiden clapped his hands, “Forget it, I’ll
discuss with dad tomorrow! Our dad loves mom so much, he won’t ignore this!”
Alex just kept nodding, not really listening to what Aiden was saying.

Aiden looked at him, speechless.
“Are you sleepy?”
“Yeah… I’m so sleepy! Adien, let’s talk about this tomorrow, tomorrow…”
As Alex was speaking, he had already fallen asleep.
