inside.
Before he could speak, Emmett asked directly, “Any news of Clara?”
Ricardo shook his head, stepping forward to place the documents on the table, “I’m sorry… this is all my fault. I
should’ve stopped her from leaving.”

Emmett rubbed his forehead, gesturing for him to leave. But Ricardo, seeing his haggard look, felt extremely guilty.
“Mr. Melendez, Mrs. Melendez must be fine. Please eat something. I heard from the canteen staff that you haven’t
