Emerald smiled. "That's right. You're such a capable woman, Miss Maxwell. Not only are you a genius doctor, you

"Just trying to put food on the table," Olivia responded.

Olivia answered, "Sure, I'll tell him that, but don't hold your breath."

Tears streamed down Emerald's cheeks once again as she said, "I know. Thank you for the help." With that, she

exited the studio.
