Wesley cleared his throat and thoughtfully said, “I think those chicken slices look pretty good, but I can’t
reach them. Waylon, could you pass them to Ms. Koch, please?”
Waylon caught Wesley’s gaze and immediately understood. He obediently said, “Alright, Grandpa, you
can trust me with this.”
Waylon picked up the serving chopsticks and selected the plumpest piece of chicken, placing it in
Aylin’s bowl with a gentlemanly smile.

Robert shot a challenging glance at Waylon, bit into a piece of chicken, chewed it twice, and said with a

As Aylin looked up, she met Wesley’s intense gaze.

Aylin pursed her lips and said tactfully, “Well, I haven’t really thought about it carefully.”
“Ah, you should really think about it. You’re so handsome and intelligent, there must be a lot of
young men who like you, right?”
Wesley spoke, moving closer to Aylin and lowering his voice, “Come on, tell Grandpa secretly,

your taste?”

Waylon clenched his teeth secretly, but his face showed a harmless smile. “I’m the host today, so of
course I should prioritize the guests. I won’t be a bother.”
Wesley caught a glimpse of the two of them still creating sparks and found it quite amusing.
He enjoyed playing with the younger generation, and being with young people seemed to make him
feel much younger in both body and mind.
He couldn’t stop laughing, pointing at Robert, and said to Aylin, “Your brother here really cares about
you, unlike mine…”
In the middle of the conversation, Wesley’s face suddenly turned pale.
