Chapter 220 Grab Herl
“Maia has regained her memories. Is that information enough?” Aiken smiled smugly at Nigel. He clearly knew that he had a
piece of useful infonnation.
“Are you sure? Is this reliable? Where did you get this information from?” Nigel asked Aiken eagerly as he was still in shock.
“Of course, it is. Maia personally told my dad that she remembers everything.”
“Your dad?” Nigel asked.
“He is the CFO of Starlight Entertainment. His name is Jordan Cantrell. I’m sure you know him, right?”
Nigel nodded, “I’ve heard that Maia had personally approached him to get him to come back to the company. I just didn’t expect
him to be your father.” Nigel smiled.
“What do you mean? I know my dad is not as handsome as I am, but he’s not that bad either. He’s quite charming for a man of
his age, you know,” Aiken refuted.
Nigel could only laugh at Aiken’s response. The reason why he had not expected Aiken’s father to be Jordan was because he
would never have thought that someone as capable as Jordan would have such a naive son.
Nigel did not want to waste any more time bickering with Aiken, so he took out a card from his bag and handed it to him. “This is
my card. From today onwards, we’re a team.
The moment Cedric leaves Maia alone, we’ll naturally go back to being competitors. I hope you understand this.”

Aiken accepted the card and winked at him. “It’s a shame that Maia still doesn’t like you after all these years. You actually look
quite cool when you’re serious.”

“We in
formed our alliance and you’re already insulting me? We shouldn’t be fighting among ourselves when we still have a stronger
opponent to defeat. Even if she doesn’t love me now, it doesn’t automatically mean that you’ll stand a chance. After all, I’ve
known her for far longer than you.”
“Then, you should start reflecting on yourself. Why hasn’t she fallen for you?” Aiken mumbled softly, but Nigel heard him.
Shortly after, Aiken smiled and commented, “Since we’re a team now, I’ll trust you. I’ll listen to your suggestions.”
to me because you have no better ideas?
“Are you just Anyway, you should call
your dad and ask him what time Maia will be at the airport. If your dad is unsure, you should ask her personal assistant.”

“Right. When I get a hold of that information, what do you plan on doing?”
“We should be the ones to pick her up. Let’s not give Cedric the chance to send her home.”
“Got it! Let’s just drive a car and grab her.“.
Nigel nodded. “I’ll get in touch with those three who spread the rumors. I’ll get them to bla this on Cedric ”.

“Wow, you’re quite scary. You’ve even planned to frame him.” Aiken was shocked at how sly Nigel’s schemes were.
“If we don’t do this, how could we make Mala hate Cedric? Don’t forget, he’s our biggest opponent now. He has everything:
power, influence, and his history with Mala. Unless you want him to win, I suggest you listen to me.”
“Of course not! How could I just let him win. I’m just worried that Mala would be angry if she finds out about your underhanded
methods.”
“If you agree not to tell then no one would know,”
“My lips are sealed,” Aiken vowed as he mimicked a zipping gesture to his lips.

“Very well. To a successful partnership,” Nigel said as he extended his hand to shake Aiken’s.
Seconds later, they left the cafe.
After Aiken found out Maia’s arrival time, he immediately informed Nigel and they agreed to meet at the airport to pick Maia up
together.
Maia and Cedric got to the airport at 3 in the afternoon. By the time they reached the arrival hall, there was already a crowd
waiting for them. The news of them arriving at the airport had got out and reporters were already stationed at the entrance
waiting for them.
“Mr. Cedric, the VIP exit is ready,” Baz told Cedric.
“Are there many reporters?” Maia asked Baz.
Baz nodded, “There are more than we anticipated. We have no other choice but to use the VIP
exit.”
“What about the basement parking lot?”
“Don’t worry, Ms. Maia. We already have bodyguards stationed there and the car is waiting right up front, so the reporters won’t
be able to come close,” Baz replied with confidence.
As Maia was about to say something, her cell phone rang. It was Aiken.

“Ms. Maia, are you already at the airport? I tried calling and texting you, but there wasn’t any

rumors about you!
Maia could not help but laugh at Aiken’s over–the–top reactions. “You don’t have to worry about me. I’m already at the airport
and leaving from the VIP exit.”
Really? I’m at the entrance of the basement parking lot. Let me go pick you up. There are a lot of reporters out here waiting for
you. No one knows how to avoid them better than I do. I’ll come pick you up shortly!”
Before Maia could turn him down, Aiken hung up. Maia could only place her phone back into her pocket as she continued to
head toward the exit.
