When Noemi arrived at the hospital, Amber was put on a drip while Rodney sat by her bed with an

anxious look on his face. Seeing that Rodney was holding Amber’s hand, Noemi rushed forward and

said, “Mr. Barron, what have you done to Amber?”

“Please, keep your voice down!” Rodney was having a good temper, which was rare. “Something

happened to her.”

“What happened? Mr. Barron, Amber was on a date with her boyfriend yesterday. Why is she with you?

What do you want? Is it not miserable enough for Amber when you cheated on her? Do you also want

“Is he that busy?” Shannon asked in disbelief.

you.”
